Courchevel 1550 - is situated directly below 1850 and offers very quick and easy access to the main ski areas in the Courchevel valley. For 2004/5, a new high speed 6 person chairlift has been constructed, replacing the old Dou du Midi 2 person chairlift, and offering a very quick connection to the centre of 1850. In addition,
some of the slopes back to the village have been altered to make them easier, and it will be much more straightforward to ski to this lift from the majority of the chalets.
